Experience “Gathered in Maine” at Gardens’ free Community Night
Join Boothbay region neighbors on Friday, Nov. 13, from 4 to 9 p.m. for the annual free Gardens Aglow Community Night. This year, you can sign up for tickets ahead of time at the Gardens’ special Community Night event sign-up. Attendees must register their free tickets using the address that matches your ID proving year-round residency in Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb or Southport. First responders and public-school staff who work on the peninsula are also welcome. Advanced registration is not required, but it will ensure you receive event updates and information.

This year, guests can expect another brand-new glowing journey through Maine traditions, sparkling landscapes, and natural connections that bring us together with the theme Gathered in Maine. New lighted elements feature a maple tapping scene, a landscape fit for mushroom foraging, and even a cohort of seed-dispersing ants.
As a special treat for neighbors, the Gardens will open the VIP fire pit area. Enjoy a free cup of cocoa or purchase a s'more kit to enjoy around the fire.
Hot food and beverages will be available for purchase in the Gardens’ Café alongside tables hosted by local non-profits and organizations. Tables will include information and opportunities to support non-profits.
Calling all non-profits and businesses
The Gardens is seeking local non-profits, organizations, and small businesses to be featured in the Café during Community Night.
If you are interested in promoting your organization, providing activities, fundraising for your non-profit, or engaging with the community in other creative ways, please reach out to the Gardens team. Non-profits may fundraise, and groups are welcome to give promotional items, but this is not a retail space for businesses. Organizations and businesses must be based on the Boothbay peninsula to participate. For questions or to sign up, please fill out this form or email Tory Paxson at tpaxson@mainegardens.org. The deadline to enter is Nov. 8.
